By creating an account or using KovaDesk, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What KovaDesk Is

KovaDesk is a document generation tool built for self-employed professionals and small businesses. It uses AI to help you create invoices, client estimates, and review responses, and delivers them via email. KovaDesk is a productivity tool — not a legal, financial, or accounting service. Documents generated should be reviewed by you before sending.

2. User Responsibilities

By using KovaDesk, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your account and business profiles
Use the service only for lawful, legitimate business purposes
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
Keep your account credentials secure and not share them
Not use the service to send spam, harassment, or fraudulent documents to clients
Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

3. Payment Terms

KovaDesk offers a free tier with limited generations and a Pro subscription at $29/month.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe
Your Pro subscription renews automatically each month on your billing date
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

4. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund on your first Pro subscription payment if you are unsatisfied for any reason within 30 days of first upgrading. To request a refund, contact us within that window.

Subsequent billing periods are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund for unused days.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, attempt to circumvent usage limits, or use the service in a way that harms other users or KovaDesk's ability to operate.

You may terminate your own account at any time by contacting us at support@kovadesk.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

6. Intellectual Property

The KovaDesk name, logo, software, and design are owned by KovaDesk. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of our service without written permission.

The documents, invoices, and estimates you generate using KovaDesk belong to you. We claim no ownership over your business information or the output you create.

7. Limitation of Liability

KovaDesk is a productivity tool and is not responsible for the legal compliance, accuracy, or enforceability of any documents you generate. You should review all documents before sending them to clients or using them in any legal or financial context.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KovaDesk's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. The Service Is Provided As-Is

KovaDesk is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate output from the service. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
